Why "Save a Stranger"?

One of the highest levels of giving is where “the one who gives ….. does not know to whom he gives, nor does the recipient know his benefactor” (Maimonides).   An unrelated stem cell donor is engaging in a totally selfless act.   Donor and donee may never meet each other or know the other’s identity.
